From a Burden to a Building

Bet Ha-Tefilla — Hebrew for "House of Prayer" — was born out of a deep conviction that the church must be more than a weekly gathering. It must be a place where God's presence is cultivated daily, where leaders are formed, and where the community finds hope and restoration.

Rooted in Machakos, Eastern Kenya, we are Redeemed Gospel Church (House of Prayer Isaiah 56:7), a congregation with a vision that spans beyond our walls — reaching the region and raising up a generation of Kingdom-minded leaders.

The name draws directly from Isaiah 56:7: "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples." That verse is our mandate, our method, and our mission.

House of Prayer

At the core of Bet Ha-Tefilla is a living, breathing culture of prayer and worship. Regular prayer meetings, night vigils, intercession for the nation and the region, and times of corporate fasting form the heartbeat of our church. We believe every programme and initiative must flow from intimacy with God.

Mission Base

We are equipping and sending evangelists into every village, estate, and marketplace in Machakos County. Our Evangelism Training follows a monthly rhythm of teaching, mentoring, and deployment — turning ordinary believers into effective witnesses.
